Together for Hope Arkansas (TFHAR) believes in the beauty and potential of the children and communities of Phillips County, Arkansas. We are committed to working collectively to see young people grow, develop, and thrive.
Our History
In 2001, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship initiated Together for Hope, a bold 20-year commitment to the 20 poorest counties in America. One of those counties was Phillips County, Arkansas which has been crippled by persistent rural poverty for over thirty years.
Together for Hope Arkansas (TFHAR) developed from the early work of the organizations and individuals committed to serving the children and families of Phillips County. Built off their efforts, TFHAR oversees programming to support education and youth developing including our signature community event, Swim Camp.
Our work seeks to celebrate and encourage the potential of young people who are often forgotten or overlooked.

Our Programs
Swim Camp
Children ages 6-12 gain lifesaving swimming skills while also enjoying crafts, music, sports, and bible story stations. Program also offers volunteer and leadership opportunities for local teens. Adult swim and water aerobics are offered in the evenings.
College Scholarships
Students from Phillips County seeking vocational training or college degrees can apply for either an academic or community service scholarship from Together for Hope Arkansas.
Camp Go!
Offers younger teens who have aged out of swim camp and helps them prepare to be volunteers for swim camp.
